Congratulations now you have passed your driving test! It’s a great feeling but it can also be a little daunting, not least because of all the extra expense of getting your first car up and running. Statistically new drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving, which is why insuring your car can be so costly. That is where PASS PLUS comes in.
PASS PLUS is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers. It is designed to build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it comprises of six modules.

|
Town Driving
Driving in town can be daunting, rush hour traffic, complicated junctions and traffic systems. |

|
All Weather Driving
Rain, fog, bright sunshine, snow and ice, different conditions need different skills. |

|
Dual Carriageways
To drive safely on fast, multi-lane roads you'll need good observation, concentration, anticipation and lane discipline. |

|
Night Driving
Dealing with dazzle, judging distance and speed, using your lights correctly, these are just some of the areas covered. |

|
Motorway Driving
Motorways are our fastest and busiest roads, concentration and planning are essential skills. |

|
Out of Town & Rural Roads
Country roads can harbour all kinds of hazards, from sharp bends and potholes to farm vehicles and animals in the road. |
There is no test at the end of the course but you will receive a certificate once you have completed the modules. You will receive your certificate from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), which will then enable you to claim substantial discount from many of the insurance companies supporting the scheme.
You may also be eligible for Pass Plus London, a new scheme in which participating candidates will be reimbursed £70.00 upon completion of the course.
